Ich les grad #TheDeluge, eins der besten Bücher seit Langem.
Mir sind paar Dinge bzgl. Abwenden der #Klimakatastrophe klar geworden. Wir brauchen:
- viel radikalere CO2-Bepreisung
- viel schnelleren Kohleausstieg & auch Gasausstieg
- viel schnelleren Ausbau von Erneuerbaren

Ich hab mich literally auf den Boden gelegt damals, damit die Person nicht verletzt wird - das ist abwertend für dich? Dann bist du verbohrter als ich dachte. Es geht um Respekt für alle.

Und mein Punkt bei dem Beispiel ist: Problem Nr 1 ist da der Kastenwagen, nicht die zerstreute Fußgängerin die nicht schaut und einfach auf die Straße läuft.

Wieder das "ihr"...Radelnde sind doch kein Monolith?! Mir ist zb klar, dass im Zweifelsfall ich die Fußgehenden mehr verletze, zb wenn sie hinter einem Kastenwagen auf die Straße treten und ich grad noch irgendwie so halb in die reinschlittere und hinfalle um die nicht zu verletzen.

Hab ich verstanden, wobei "vor denen geschützt" schon arg nach Feindbild klingt. Mein Punkt: würden Fußgehende und Radelnde priorisiert und hätten gleich viel Platz, gäbe es das Thema nicht. So bewegen wir uns halt in der Welt, den die Autofanatiker*innen uns vorgeben.

Das Problem mal wieder an dieser Konversation verdeutlicht: Dass Radfahrende und Fußgehende gegeneinander ausgespielt werden, anstatt für Sicherheit zusammen zu stehen. Und über diejenigen, die beiden Gruppen den Platz und die Sicherheit wegnehmen, redet dann wieder niemand.

Politik sollte heißen: ich vertrete eine Meinung und erkläre den Leuten, warum ich sie für richtig halte und überzeuge sie.
