nothing makes me feel like a lovecraftian protagonist more than watching brand new misinformation sprout from the ground and take root as the next pop sci "fact" to be debunked for the next 15 years because of shoddy fearmongering clickbait journalism which paints an inaccurate picture of the world.

There's at least one prophetic part to the dream in Restless.

The cheese is also super important.

(Not really, but I did once read a great post on a Buffy forum that how the cheeseman appears in each dream represents that character's relationship to magic - and it kind of works!)

I only saw the conjuring for the first time last week. Have to say I wasn't very impressed by it after hearing all the hype for it. I think I slightly enjoyed the Nun a bit more.

The key imagery was so present I started to make a better plot for the Film, involving a sect of nuns secretly devoted to Hecate Klêidouchos, Hecate Key Holder, guarding the threshold at the crossroads between this world and the underworld.

Watching The Nun.

It's ok so far. The McGuffin is a relic containing the blood of Christ which is keeping a hellhole/demon locked in.

So far this Catholic priest and novitiate don't seem to remember about transubstantiation as they look for it.

In line to pay in the petrol station yesterday a woman was talking to her friend and said “I swear to god I need a Valium and a box of chocolate ” and now this morning my 3 year old who overheard this convo, is asking for “a wee Valium and chocolate please.” It’s like living with a devious parrot

If you know basic kabbalah it's actually not too hard to make a golem out of a labubu. Don't recommend it though. They have a pre-existing body-dharma.
