Gelatinous Cube released Jan 2020. Yes, you can make any of my patterns with blanket yarn! 🧶 I suggest using a J hook and yarn under sc's- you can learn about YO vs YU on my site (link in highlights). Original little guy is in worsted weight with an F hook. Everything comes out about 3.5x bigger! 🧶

Finished! Only took me 4 days and was WAY easier than I had thought. Fair Isle knitting has intimidated me for ages, but this helped me figure out it's not actually that hard.🧶

Day 1: made it through row 15 of the pattern. Had to back out 2 rows when I discovered Chart 1 is missing a MC square on the left for rows 13-15, but I managed.🧶 So many ends to weave in, but one of my bfs has agreed to do it for me ❤️😍

Getting two skeins of variegated yarn that are pretty identical means I just *had* to make sweater sleeves with them, right?🧶Trying to alternate between them so I don't fuck up the increases, and succeeding so far.

I love my ladies from crochet club. I don’t care that they’re 65+ and I’m not. They prove time & time again that age is just a number & sometimes it’s fun to say swear words. Or crochet them in this case.

Yay fellow polyglot! I've been fluent in Spanish since I was 17, double-majored in that and German, picked up French along the way, and did Duolingo a year or two ago to learn Italian. Also took courses in Old English and Gothic because why not. So I thought Portuguese would be a natural next step.
