Hi there!

I'm Sarah, writer and artist from the southeastern USA. I love making new worlds (especially making maps for them) and playing with the characters.

Three people stand in front of a temple with a scarab sculpted around the entrance. All are in ancient Egyptian dress. The man is at the front of the group wearing the war crown of ancient Egypt. The other two are women. One looks haughty while the other looks forlorn. A force of warriors in ancient egyptian armor charge toward the viewer. The man in center front is yelling and is thrusting his sword forward. He wears a golden scale armor top and a white kilt with a sash that hangs down the front. His headdress is red. The men to his sides scowl aggressively at the enemy. Two of the opposing army are in the extreme foreground and are shocked by their postures. A young woman stands underwater, holding a large golden heart in her hands. Her hair is braided and floating. She wears a beaded red headdress that hides the top of her face and a making necklace that covers her chest. She wears a long wrap skirt. A large fish swims behind her. Four older women in their fifties stand menacingly on a staircase. The closest on the left is in a pink shirt and jeans, holding a gun. She has white hair, fair skin and green eyes. The woman on the right is of persian decent and is holding magical fire in her left hand. The next closest on is Black with a blue shirt and jeans.  She's adjusting her glasses. The woman farthest away is grinning wildly up with an orange aura around her.

I just love* how everyone was for masking until it was revealed that Black people were more at risk from Covid then masks became oppression. And now I'm still having to mask to protect my family from all these filthy people.

*I don't, in fact, love it.

I have masked in public spaces since 2020. I mask all day at work. It's not hard. People aren't getting vaccinated for Covid and this anti vaccine sentiment across the country has led to a measles outbreak in my state. If more of us masked, less people would get terribly ill.

yeah, i think a commitment to public health obligates you to get vaccinated and, when you are sick, do what you can to avoid spreading that to other people. the demand that one mask at all times in public spaces is, i think, unreasonable.

Most people aren’t asking you mask at all times.

They ask that you mask in essential places: public transit, hospitals, doctors’ offices, pharmacies etc.

Places high risk people can’t avoid.

But if you hate wearing masks? Then advocate for indoor air quality: ventilation, filtration, etc.

I’ve been masking at all times in public spaces since 2020 and it’s really not that difficult at all you just put the mask on and go tbh

I just want you all to know that when we told you that they wanted to destroy everything and you thought Black women were exaggerating? This was the "ironic" racism you said we were overreacting to 10 years ago. Racism has never had generational limits

With Sinners coming back to theaters, I just think about how that movie unlocked something. And not just in me.
An art piece of two Black people, a man and woman, sitting in a 1930s car. The woman is in the open passenger seat with a small robot on her lap. The man, wearing a brown suit, is sitting on the running board with his hat on his knee. A skinny limbed robot stands nearby, wearing a green fedora and holding a rifle over his shoulder.

Just so everyone is clear, the main issue in the Supreme Court voting rights case tomorrow is whether it's racist against white people to enforce the Voting Rights Act.

I'm dead serious. We live in incredibly stupid times.

Y'all are about to be so pleased with me.

I don't need millions. $40k would do. Just a year to sit at home and just work.

Honestly, I'd take $35k.

I wish I had the social clout to kickstarter a year's salary so I could just bring y'all all the projects burning in my mind.

The Regime's goal is to grind everyone down. Plain & simple. Our goal is to refuse this by taking turns to fight where and how we can. When one group needs to bow out, then another group needs to step in and so on. We don't all have to do everything. We can all do something though. Stay in the fight
