I'll start it off simple with basic politics! I am not a liberal, I reject liberalism. I am a progressive. We must *progress* past liberalism, it has failed us and led to fascism. Democracy is non-negotiable, and I have seen liberal Democrats negotiate it alot!

The racism of people like Woods is so intrinsic that it's kinda built from first principles-- this imagined type of Muslim he hates is so convoluted yet flat, that it requires one to see "Muslim" as a singular unerring type of person with no room for nuance or difference.

A part of the B-29 story a lot of people don't know is that the Soviet Tu-4 is an almost exact copy of the B-29 that the Soviets reverse engineered from airframes that were interned in the USSR in accordance with Soviet-Japanese neutrality treaties

a) the P-51 was a design 4 years in the making

b) The notion that the US avoided extraordinarily costly defense projects with massive cost overruns is disproven by the B-29, which cost more to develop and produce than the Manhattan Project
