That’s an N95 mask, I should add, as many other masks are not fine enough to trap airborne COVID pathogens. They even make ‘em in black to fit my overgrown theaterkid style, such as it is.

The attitudes are too often bizarre, emotional, irrational, and not based in understanding of basic epidemiology. I carry a mask with me at all times, wear it when in proximity to others, and anyone who gives me lip about it is going to get a hot earful of Science.

People are melting down at a Tribune article about CHSD 230 considering adding Arabic to its language learning electives. I wasted time in the comments, which I normally avoid doing since it's useless and awful, but it led to possibly the funniest thing anybody's ever said to me about France.
