If things spiral I doubt demoralised and isolated DHS units would survive a fight with protesters or CPD, never mind anything on a wider regional scale.

But if the US experiences further destabilisation and financial crash a lot of people armed by DHS could get bought out by cartels or go freelance

Not once have I seen an explanation for why teenagers must hear things that upset them in virtue of the unspecified speech-acts being upsetting, nor have I ever seen an explanation for why teenagers will be forbidden to express displeasure with upsetting things.

LA County has declared a state of emergency BECAUSE OF the federal government.

The Feds, LA County is (correctly) saying, have CAUSED the emergency.
