The current WIP sitting on my easel.
It's a big piece, at 60cm by 90cm (I think, can't remember for sure the size of the paper I ordered). I bought these papers sheets in order to test them out for charcoal drawings, however I don't really enjoy it's texture, which is unfortunate.

Oh look, I'm still alive. And look, I still know how to draw!
Jokes aside, I've been incredibly busy. Work has been crazy. Plus I've been kind of addicted to plants and using my spare time taking care of my collection.
Anyway, new drawing. Charcoal on paper. Kinda big. Stay tuned for more.

Fun fact: not only is alt text a good and kind thing to do for those who need it, it’s also searchable!

For art shares, I often search my old posts for art I’ve shared, and copy the same alt text again to save time 🙂

I definitely do not know how to play the social media game. I upload something, interact with some people, then get busy doing art, tending to my plants and reading books and suddenly it's been 3 weeks. I guess the perk is that I get some work done. Like these adorable cockatiel amigurimu.

Have been really busy with work as of late. My daytime job is retail. It's summer and I live in an area with high tourism rates. It's aldo been really hot lately. Needles to say I just want summer to end.
But here's a cute amigurumi puppy I did the other day.

Summer is awfull. I hate this heat. I usually only work with dry mediums during summer because, with this heat, paint just dries faster than I can blink.

Finally took some decent photos of this guy.
I love how it turned out. Adding that little bit of red was the best decision I made. I think the piece would feel incomplete without it. I think I'll add a splash of color to my pointillism pieces from now on.
