my moms' family were NOLA French Creoles, which no one ever talked about til I did an ancestry DNA test. They came to Ca in the 1840s and I never knew that's where the family on that side was from and we ate allllll that stuff. Red beans and rice, hopping john, squab, succotash. Foodwise I'm 150 😂
