Also working for Constellis in 2018 as a state department security guy is a COMPLETELY different beast than working for Blackwater from 2002-2010. It had been through three reorganizations, was doing a totally different job, and Erik Prince hadn’t been involved for seven years.

Ok true, but for the lower ranks he’s also the guy who took away your ping pong table, cut your family’s food stamps, and mandated you spend an extra hour of free time every day working out with the additional incentive that if you’re too fat by his standards you will be fired.

Yeah, my position re: Maine is also my position re: IL-9 - I’m not local, it’s not my race, I think the candidates are by and large solid enough, and the point of a primary is to work out who voters like best. May the best Dem win and I hope they keep things clean.

It's also disturbing that Gorsuch joined this opinion. He has clearly disavowed any interest in protecting trans rights five years out from Bostock. It was evident after he joined Skrmetti, and it's obvious today. He's just another anti-trans culture warrior now. Never explained the about-face.

It seems like these people were summarily executed for crossing a line. Whether that was a violation of the agreement or not in some hyper technical sense, who gives a fuck? It was just people, and they didn’t have to be killed.

People act like either all cons have to be 18-21+ partypaloozas or totally G-rated family friendly funtimes and it’s a false dichotomy, both are legitimately furry and good expressions of the self, and the scene has space for both. But a lot of cons try to be all things for all furs and crash.
