Got into an arguement on Instagram where I may have mentioned I was in favour of means-testing Winter Fuel payments and the other person is not talking about why Gen-Z need to be put in 'National Service work camps' and the UK needs to stop 'wasting money in Ukraine'.

Yes, I think you have 'Anglican' as a kind of base default (though I'm not sure if that really resonates with the under 40s at all?), but only 5% actually attend Church, one of the lowest rates in Europe.

I think everybody is noticing the pick-up in 'Christian country' rhetoric from Turning point & Tommy Benidorm - but given how few people actually attend Church in the UK, in stark contrast to the US mega-congregations does this really have legs beyond permanently online uncles?
