If a man set fire to NYTimes offices, they would call him a winner and report on the dual nature of his magnificent personality.

Trump’s firing of the labor statistics chief is described by the New York Times as a display of “disproportionate intensity.” Get serious, NYT. He’s not just throwing ketchup against the wall — he’s on an autocratic campaign of fraud against the American people.
On Saturday night the president then posted a video of himself wearing a crown while flying a jet that dropped diarrhea on the United States, and boosted an image of himself wearing a crown posted by the vice president.
"'They say they’re referring to me as a king. I’m not a king,' the president said in a Fox News interview that aired early Friday, before he departed for a $1 million-per-plate MAGA Inc. fundraiser at his club."
"...deployments of troops in U.S. cities are 'un-American' and alarming signs of eroding democracy.

"'I fought for freedom and against this kind of extremism abroad,' said Howard, who added that he also worked at the CIA for 20 years on counter-extremism operations."
"Iraq War Marine veteran Shawn Howard said he had never participated in a protest before but was motivated to show up because of what he sees as the Trump administration’s 'disregard for the law.' He said immigration detentions without due process and...

Remember April 2009 when about 250,000 people took to America’s streets in Tea Party rallies and the media was like “oh man, the Dems are in trouble?” Approximately 28X as many people took to the streets to protest Trump yesterday. Didn’t even make the NYT front page.
In April of 2009 I observed the Tea Party rally in Salem. As this front page story says, there were a couple hundred people there. This past weekend in Salem there were roughly 2-3000 people at the Hands Off rally. Yet the Tea Party coverage seemed to take that event far more seriously.

🚨NEW: After we revealed Russ Vought's "put them in trauma" video, I spent the next year reporting on him, his influence, and his vision for America.

Yes, I got *new* recordings & videos of Vought.

Here is the story.

Donald Trump’s Deep-State Wrecking Ball
Russell Vought is using the White House budget office to lay waste to the federal bureaucracy—firing workers, decimating agencies, and testing the rule of law.

If they launched attacks it’s over.

Top story when you go to The Guardian this AM. Which it is not when you go to the Washington Post or the NY Times. Apt language here, whereas WaPo describes the day as an airing of grievances as though we are a bunch of whining George Costanzas, not a vast public fearful of losing everything.
Millions across all 50 US states march in No Kings protests against Trump
Crowds of Americans, many in costumes, aligned behind message that US is sliding into authoritarianism

That’s pretty shocking given the NYPD’s record on Trump, MAGA, QAnon, Jan6, etc.

Tonight the president of the United States posted a video of himself wearing a crown and flying a jet that dumps diarrhea all over the United States.

Seriously. He actually did this.

It is notable that the Times article did not mention this, which, in itself, should be a huge, ongoing scandal, particularly in light of all of the concern about condescension to ordinary Americans that the Democrats supposedly display.

The NYTimes is a disgrace to America, and to journalism.
This is quite a hed/subhed.
1) Start with Vance. Use strong action verb. Accept the autocratic premise that the “Marines’ Might” are Vance’s to flex.
2) Mention the protest second and absurdly describe them as in the thousands
3) Treat Trump’s strong man use of the military as a partisan scuffle.
