Newsom: The New Testament and Old Testament have one dominant thing in common—Matthew, Isaiah, Luke, Proverbs, go down the list—it’s about food, about serving those who are hungry. It’s not a suggestion; it’s core and essential to what it means to align with God’s will.

The president had a MRI but won't say why.

He had bruises on his hands but wouldn't say why.

He just had an 'annual medical' even though he already had his annual medical.

He got shot in the ear but has never released the medical records relating to it.

How is any of this ok?

It’s cut & dried.

The Zohran "aunt" thing is the funniest hatchetjob of all time. There was a prominent person in my childhood named Uncle Bonehead who was just a friend of my uncle. To this day I have no idea what his actual name was. This nomenclature is not unusual in my culture (recovered alcoholic Masshole).
It was the last song Jackie Lee sang before retiring - she’s still with us though!
Indeed - Labour Comms need to ‘own’ the language on this.
Call them ‘safe houses’ or something like that.
This implies these visitors are at risk from the far Right and Reform voters - which they are - and implies the taxpayer has to pay to protect them, effectively blaming Reform.

Overshooting 1.5°C wasn't 'inevitable.'

We've been pushed by fossil fuel giants & governments that pander to them.

Every delay, every oil field, every broken promise made this crisis worse.

Keir Starmer, will you promise to leave Rosebank undeveloped?

Yes. Or maybe it’s a westerly wind?
Have been wondering the same thing.
But it’s their pelvic thrust that really drives them insane.

You know when Terry Pratchett said 'It doesn't stop being magic just because you know how it works'? Yeah, he meant this.

If Sarah Pochin had said she was maddened because there were too many Jewish people in adverts, she’d have been sacked by now. Quite rightly.

There wouldn’t be any debate about whether she was antisemitic or not.

She’d have lost the Reform Ltd whip.

Hierarchy of racism writ large, indeed.
Great foley work with the glass smash - a little bit over the top. ☺️

We know the bad guy Peter Vaughan gets caught soon after - he serves time with Ronnie Barker in Porridge.
They might still be.

They could be part of a Green/Red/LibDem coalition govt.

And 2029 is years away.

"For the government it’s quite mad to keep using X. It’s active participation in its own destruction and against its own interests. I cannot fathom the logic of doing it. It would be like a Reform government communicating entirely through the Guardian comments section." 👏 @samfr.bsky.social

Always fascinating watching people underestimate the size of London vs other UK ciries.

On an average weekday, more journeys are made on JUST the Elizabeth line than the ENTIRE population of Liverpool.

If the Tube was a city, its average daily passengers would make it the 2nd largest in the UK.
Russia’s economy is actually smaller than that of UK or France despite its huge landmass.
Population-wise, it’s double that of the UK, but in GDP terms, it’s not a global economic giant.

It’s a lot more fragile than many realise. And these attacks must be having a significant effect.
‘Lessons will be learned, and this will never happen again…’

Yeah, right…
