I'm all for e bikes. More butts on seats and all that, and in a city as hilly as HRM (especially as you make your way out of the harbour) they're a great tool.

Licensing and insurance will only further make accessing safe e bike options difficult or dissuade others entirely.

Don't even get me started on shock cords. Simultaneously too loose and too tight.

Then the little cord gets one side tighter than the other.
