That’s the thing. I am actually optimistic about the Eagles 2026 and beyond. It’s only the 2025 Eagles with the coaching staff configured the way it is that I’m not optimistic about.

The tell to me that this Eagles season was going to keep devolving into new lows was Lane going public with what he thinks about the offense, instead of keeping it in-house the way he did in 2021 and 2024

I don’t have a strong feeling either way about Rhule per se. He’s improved every college team he’s taken over, so I don’t think he’d be a bad hire. But I’d hate for the search to be so singularly focused on one candidate.
