Drew Struzan, the masterful illustrator behind some of cinema’s most iconic posters, has passed away at the age of 78. Struzan died on October 13 after years of battling Alzheimer’s disease, a condition that had gradually forced him into retreat from the public eye.

This entire argument by Louisiana and the conservatives questions are premised on an erasure of Congress’ enforcement power under the 14th & 15th Amendments.

Literally swinging for the fences to wipe out the premise for the legitimacy of Congress’ power to enact civil rights statutes.

My latest: Experts’ rating of U.S. as a democracy in newest Bright Line Watch Survey fell from 67 out of 100 before the 2024 election to 55 in Feb and to 54 in Sep. Experts also now project that the U.S. democracy rating will drop further to 47 by 2027.
