I do get that “Christianity” is far more a tribal signifier than an actual religion or philosophy with these people.

It’s just endlessly frustrating that they don’t even bother to read the book they claim to love.

I’d also add that maybe Jandek isn’t actually creating music for his fans. It seems almost compulsive, or that it’s largely for his own tastes.

Serious answer: If Columbus Day was originally implemented as a backlash against anti-Italian discrimination and pro-Italian pride, Garibaldi is a much better choice.

Wife & I maybe convinced the kids that we kept 14 yo’s placenta and it’s in the freezer right now.

Grocery pickup is this evening, and there’s a beef liver coming. I hope I have plenty of time to vacuum seal & throw it in the freezer before the kids notice it.
