Yes thanks, I realised I should have offered more context and credit - that just about covers it.
Of course you don't care, but it's not effective. In fact it's *hugely* counterproductive for an audience that sees AI as a deceptive tool of the forces behind the horrors you purport to oppose. Just post a hand-drawn cartoon.
For what it's worth, the current issue of Ethical Consumer magazine looks at alternatives to Amazon & ranks streaming services on various criteria:
Thanks. Very sad that this now reads like an AI prompt for a generated image - something that will put illustrators out of work.

BY THE WAY

If you've updated to Windows 11 recently, you're probably on version 25H2.

There's a new setting in Settings: Privacy & Security.

Scroll aaaaaaaalll the way to the bottom and you'll see "Text and Image Generation."

TURN IT OFF.

Don't disagree with any of that, in particular I'm a fan of the Gift Aid scheme.
As has been said elsewhere, charitable status is somewhat lax, and doesn't always remotely represent benefits to society. Also IHT is just about the least regressive tax there is, compared to alternatives, & yes, of course tax should be distributed according to an elected govts policy & priorities.
"Why not?" is a great question, if you're of the opinion that tax just 'goes to the government', and is in no way a good thing that benefits society. But sure, minimise IHT and let the tax burden fall somewhere else.

OK I'm sure the 100-yr-old metal lattice design is the future, then.
Fair enough thanks, but ours are the direct link from Hinckley Point C; I doubt that's much less of a load.
I'd be very surprised if they put up new pylons that look like that. We've just had a new line and they look like this
Yeah let's guess - this 'standard' will be assessed by AI examiners...
Sounds like the strategy has worked perfectly. As with all these billionaire media purchases, the intention is not to turn a profit but to shut them down as an opposition mouthpiece.

In any discussion of food and farming, unless your solution can be scaled to feed 8 billion people, you shouldn't be taken seriously. Unfortunately, cottagecore fantasies that would feed only the richest consumers, leaving billions to starve, are all too common.

Pedestrians also suffer serious head injuries. As do car occupants. Presumably you advocate for them to wear helmets as well?

Global adoption of the diet could prevent at least 15 million early deaths a year in adults 🤯

AND it would slash food-related climate emissions by half 🌱

When I was a teenager there was a bus direct from my hometown in Germany to London - we had a British army base, and this direct bus connection was one of the benefits of that. One summer I went on that bus to go volunteer in an old people's home in Southend-on-Sea. I had just turned 18 and was... 🧵
