I LIVED. We won the first game. And I assisted our first two goals in a 3-2 final. Finished +2. How will I feel two days from now? .... gonna feel some things.

Like how in the goddamn heck did I block a shot with the ball of my right foot?? That is a thing that mostly should not be #JennHockey 🥅🏒

Currently accepting both thoughts and prayers on a back-to-back game night -- random schedule quirk; shouldn't happen again -- with the first v. a U18A squad.

You're likely aware I'm no longer a teenager. Prob less aware I've not played 'srs' hockey since 2020. Should be fun, lol #JennHockey 🥅🏒

This is why you need to be careful with what you say. You never know who might take it upon themselves to act on it.

WHEN THERE’S TREASURE BEHIND THE WATERFALL: Oh wow. Yes, very clever! Waterfall treasure! No one’s ever done that before. Lazy jackass

WHEN THERE’S NO TREASURE BEHIND THE WATERFALL: Wow. Too stuck-up to put treasure there huh? Too much of a fucking ICONOCLAST for that? Piece of shit. FUCK you

I presume that orchestra people have vicious stereotypes about clarinetists that could be deployed here. I once heard three performers riff on violists for ten minutes and it was frightening.

Oh good, ChatGPT is getting "erotica for verified adults" later this year
We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.

Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.

In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).

In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.

This is why you need to not just mask, but mask consistently in public.
Highlights
•
HIV/AIDS and COVID-19 are preventable infectious diseases with chronic systemic impacts including immune system dysfunction.
•
Chronic inflammation, immune exhaustion, and accelerated biological aging are shared hallmarks of HIVI/AIDS and Long COVID/PASC.
•
Tissue reservoir persistence drives long-term damage in both HIV and SARS-CoV-2. SARS-CoV-2 mirrors HIV-1 in its ability to evade immune defenses and cause chronic infection.
•
SARS-CoV-2 -associated neurological disorders (SAND) parallel HIV-associated neurological disorders (HAND).
•
Both pandemics exhibit failures in global solidarity and reveal inequities in healthcare access.

Don’t worry, everyone; they’re implementing state of the art age verification technology
A screen from the old game Leisure Suit Larry’s age verification quiz. Text on screen reads “Oops. You blew that one! If you miss another, you can’t possibly be 25.”

A favourite! Always fun to do a fancy version in wine 🍷

Meats, beans, eggs in various forms. No nuts at the moment with the price. Annoyed my aging stomach can't seem to handle my previous standard pre-game meals without sitting heavy, so I'm still trying to find something that works :(

goddammit. This year I'm back to an absurd amount of higher-level hockey, and there's only so many heavy calories I can eat before making myself sick on the ice, so I added back supplements. Will have to check this list later.

If you are a Canadian citizen or resident, and you hate "AI"¹, please fill out this survey.

The survey questions are *extremely* biased, so this will not be a fun experience, but I think it is worth it.

my theory: AI-heads are addicted to rakes. just love the taste of them. work triple-time to make sure they step on every rake possible on the way to getting yelled out of pursuing their project that particular way. and they'll be back to do it again. they can't help it, it's a drug.

The headline is bad, but the article itself correctly notes that this is not really about trade policy, so much as it's about:
1. Trump's repeated attacks on Canada's sovereignty, especially the 51st state comments.
2. Fear of being detained at the border.
