Just looking in to see what is what. Blues, cats, cakes and photography and stuff. Might have spent 30 years in broadcast. no dm. Header pic Caban Coch Dam in the Elan Valley in Wales. Water topping the dam is normal when it is full.

Thank you. I am having a titter at this.

A local cafe uses the steam wand to heat the coffee to 4 million degrees.

👏 "We've lived here all our lives. And I have never felt so unwelcome in my own hometown as I do since your party came into Caerphilly."

"With all the rhetoric that you bring in, I have to say to my sons, please don't go there. Please don't do this."

"I blame you for that."

Not a penny drop for Powell, who is Gill's old employ. A look of confusion.

🚨 NEW POLL IN CAERPHILLY 🚨

Next week's by-election is a two horse race between Plaid Cymru and Reform.

Now's the time to lend Plaid Cymru your vote to elect local champion, Lindsay Whittle - and stop Reform's politics of division.

The food is very good. Each patrol takes it in turn to help Mrs Lovegrove cook it. We cooked spaggetti bolangeze & pie then for breakfast we had eggy bread.

It was an honour to present a new episode for the Imperial War Museum's YouTube channel on the Battle of Britain from the Luftwaffe's perspective - straight from the Operations Room at IWM Duxford! Link is here:

A Kestrel perches on a branch, eyes fully closed, with its head tucked deep into its feathers. Its soft plumage is fluffed and rounded, giving it a sleepy, cocooned look, like it’s trying to block out the world.

Seeing so many trucks blinged up around now. Including tyres way outside bodywork and cow catchers (police would have a filed day with that). Not an ounce of dust on them so not work trucks. Probably same footprint as the large vans I used to drive for work.

Tried that, but the commentary deepens it from that simple to know idea still. Seeing a lot of fingers pointing all over the shop.

How to be a Ladybird man, part 20.
Smoke a pipe. Never cigarettes. Always a pipe

When I ask for a black coffee. All I want is a black coffee. "Black coffee" I say. Then the bit that irks arrives "do you want milk with that...."

I meant to do an update on Mum and Dad earlier but I’ve been feeling a bit ropey. They actually reached Blakey Ridge at lunchtime - today’s stage involved a lot of ascending early on to reach the plateau of Urra Moor, then straightforward over an old mine railway. Two more days to Robin Hood’s Bay

Wrens aren't the only avian visitors after dark. Tawny Owls sometimes come to the pond.
I don't believe they come to bathe, but to hunt.
Small mammals - shrews, voles & mice are able to move across the weedy surface of the pond to feed.
Here, it's difficult to see if the owl has been successful.

I have absolutely no idea. I have read the posts, re read, re read, but still no clue what I am supposed to know about this.
Might have another go today.

Vet tried to get us to have a cat scan on our cat (yeah, I laughed). No insurance so £5k+ cost meant not happening. Then Vet says probably don't need it anyway just rest when we said so.
Puss is fine now.

What is the timetable to get this working.
Will it be watered down.
