Pinning posts is a thing now, so new intro!

I'm Jason! I've been in the gaming industry for 20+ years, at places like 2K, Bethesda, and currently Gearbox. I worked on many games you may have played. I also freelance for The Comics Journal.

I post complete nonsense here, and quite frequently, pie.

Great photo. He's drawing the sephirot, the spheres of Jewish mysticism. Either that, or playing hopscotch.

Honestly with Bowie, you can never tell.
I don't remember any literal nazis, but that certainly would be on brand.
That was Europe only. NOE had better sense than NOA, apparently. :)
Not only did Conker's Bad Fur Day feature The Great Mighty Poo, but that was a MUSICAL sequence. It sang to you.

It will always be completely insane that this is a game that Nintendo published.

Heads-up: he's a little salty about his Miracleman work. He *should* be okay to sign that edition, but I tried getting him to sign my original Eclipse edition a few years back and he flat out refused. The publisher stiffed him.

He might also refuse to sign that Captain Britain edition. Who knows.

Next documentary drops next week! Look for it exclusively @shacknews.com.
This is tonight!
I'm going to a figure drawing session on Wednesday night where the models will be cosplaying as Geralt, Triss, and Yennifer. Gonna be so much fun!

I have lots of pose ideas, but all of them involve Triss getting pushed aside (sorry kids, that's just the way it is).

This is a lovely tribute to the man known as Mort Todd.

Like all kids my age, I was a big Cracked reader, if only because it was the thing you got when there wasn't a new issue of MAD on the stands (if there wasn't Cracked, you went with Car-Toons...god help us).

Two weeks ago we lost a giant of the movie posters world, Renato Casaro. Today we lost a modern Master of movie posters: DREW STRUZAN. I can guarantee you have at least seen 5 of his posters in your lifetime. The man has put his art on some of the most popular movie franchises (Indiana Jones, 1/4

Aw, man. Truly a giant.
RIP Drew Struzan - a man whose talent and imagination etched onto so many minds throughout the last 40+ years.

His art & posters are some of the first visuals I think of when I think about cinema - an invitation to watch these stories and worlds.

A massive loss 💔

Frazetta's "Reign of Wizardry" absolutely has to be seen in person to truly appreciate it. Reproductions don't do it justice. It is just astounding.
Just four paintings? Utterly impossible, but here are four that have made a lasting impression.

I've seen all four of these in person.

He went quiet for a few years, but he's got new books out this year. He'll even be at Baltimore Comic-Con this weekend!

Verdict on the Grasshopper Pie: so very good. I mean, this is a super easy, super reliable recipe, so no surprises here. But man, I love this pie.

The filling came out extra-fluffy this time, too. I guess I did a good job folding it all together.

150,000/10. This is truly excellent pie.

Updated photo: I added crushed Mint Oreos on top. My inner Paul Hollywood decided it was too plain. Looks a bit better now.

I've been pretty busy this weekend and I just love how quick and easy this pie is. It really takes all of an hour to make, and most of that is waiting for things to set before combining them. It's pretty much foolproof, and the results are tasty. No wonder it was a staple of '60s housewives.
