When economists frame anything (like tech) in terms of economics, it ALWAYS comes down to the flow of capital. AI generates huge flows of capital, so it must be "transformational" - is some greed-based economy bullshit in every sense. Transformational? Fuck off.

Well, I don't think this kind of rhetoric moves the needle with a bunch of lawless legislators. They do not care. This isn't the first law they've broken. This isn't the first time they've ignored the constitution.
