Still got a bit of a wait even so. If i get a 4th bout of it i will be looking to pay for it. Hoping now we know it was shingles (very atypical presentation) i am trying to manage my workload better to avoid it.

So not only do NDIS participants have to navigate the NDIS bureaucracy - they also have to navigate the competence of third party contractors accountable to no one.

It wont be the last bloom i suspect. 48m on travel vouchers. All the rest is on monitoring/research. We need to be working on a solution.

Indeed but it isnt all of the ocean. If you target areas with most dense algae perhaps it would be sufficient to get clearance moving along. I suspect you could do a reasonable sized area a day with a catamaran sized algae uv blaster.

Why cant the “cytobots” or something the size of say a catamaran actually skim the surface of the ocean and scoop up and kill the algae? Say with UV? Surely there is a scientific solution to speed up clearance of this algae

Folks seem determined to spread that the algae bloom is due to the desal plant…. Yes it has been ramped up, but it has been run at higher levels before this… AI result says the EPA even says it is linked to this.. guess what EPA actually says on the matter? www.epa.sa.gov.au/environmenta...

Dead fish everywhere oh but-the algae is not in any way toxic. And not to be confused with brevatoxin also found in the water that is a neurotoxin. Oh and avoid the beach and close windows if you have asthma. But please all go the beach for your summer holiday and eat SA seafood

My husband bought be a jacaranda (and flame tree) for our wood anniversary a few years back. It got planted finally at new house last year. Apart from 3 small flowers a few years ago we havent seen proper flowering. Its covered in little flow buds. Its totally gonna do it when we are away :(
