@marketplace.org people are literally starving because they can't afford prescription medications & food each month. It's incredibly frustrating to turn on the radio & hear you casually giggle about $60 butter and how the economy is fine because the top 1% spent half of the money this last quarter.

What?? Like your local NBC station wasn't a thing? That's wild. We had just an antenna when I was little and it was like the basic ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox (sometimes), and PBS. Crazy stuff

I understand in that weird og era where it was on Disney channel because I didn't have that either, but NBC was where I watched it. Everyone's different though, it's cool to meet people who have some wildly different media influences imo!
