Hi everyone! I'm Sam, freelancer and illustrator on a variety of Warhammer tabletop roleplaying games. Here's a tiny slice of what I do:

Watched Wallace & Gromit's "A Close Shave" with the kids. Good, but not as good as The Wrong Trousers, which has the greatest chase scene in all of cinema (fight me)

My Vilitch campaign in #Warhammer #TotalWar nears its conclusion. We're now at that stage in all TWW games where its mostly just a handful of very big empires grinding each other down. In my case, I'm fighting Tsarina Katarin, who has a frightening number of armies.

Vilitch the Curseling - a muscly Chaos Warrior with a weird conjoined sorcerer twin, brandishing a magical staff.

I re-read this not long ago. Might be might least favourite of the 3 GW Books anthologies, buts still got some great stories in it.

Watched yet another bloody film in which someone riding a bicycle dies tragically in a traffic accident.

Its got to the point where I just assume that someone riding a bike in a film is a goner. Deeply fucking depressing. No wonder people are scared to cycle!

Love this one! It’s not quite up there with Drachenfels and Beasts in Velvet, but it’s still great.

I particularly like Cold Stark House, which I’m convinced could be adapted into an interesting WFRP adventure…

Some of the best TTRPG sessions I've ever had were when unplanned inspiration or events struck. When I first started GMing games I tried to force the action and the drama, and I built set-pieces and events to try and shock and awe my group, who I saw as my audience.

But that's not the way to do it.

This Skaven takes a fighting crouch, his shield braced, his spear ready to strike, and his breath ready to drop a hippo at 50 paces.

More pustule cluster (clustule?) that rat-man, really. 'to Skrolk' should be a verb.
He raises his Rod of Corruption and holds open the Liber Bubonicus. You feel like you need a shower.

I’m inclined to agree. I love videogames, but videogame movies are almost always rubbish.

On the other hand you have the MK movie, which is ridiculous and silly and has Johnny Cage being an engaging idiot.

Just to say that teachers do an incredibly difficult job, with all the right intentions, and can be the defining influence on a young person's life. They are the exact opposite of poisoners because good teaching provides the antidote to so many dangers
