Such a great decision! I've been wanting this for people for years. It's going to make a huge difference for recipients and will actually make everything more efficient for CRA employees and income assistance employees and recipients throughout the provinces. Hopefully direct CRA file is next.

It's a great step, and it's definitely appreciated!

I hope that Canada can implement some even more aggressive anti-poverty programs soon, such as Universal Basic Income (which has been shown over and over to be a net economic benefit in terms of social spending).
