I’m an activist and have noticed that the Asians who tend to show up to pro-Palestine protests are those whose people were colonized by Europeans and Americans. Filipinos, Koreans, Hong Kong natives. We are all Palestinians 🇵🇸

And yes ideally I would love to see at least some of the country returned to Native Americans, the very few left, and Hawaii returned to Hawaiians. The difference is the American genocide happened centuries ago, I wouldve been killed for speaking up. Palestinian genocide is happening now.

what I’ve noticed to be a more blase attitude toward Gaza and the Palestinian plight than I’d like to see. As someone descended from people colonized by Europeans, I feel a deep connection with Palestine and hatred of Israel. Sometimes non-colonized others don’t feel the same empathy. Despicable
