And just FYI, in 2024, Canada generated approximately 66.5% of its electricity from renewable sources, primarily hydroelectric power. Brazil leads the world with 88.9%, followed by Canada. We are not perfect, and we are getting there. Move if you don't like it...either way, shut up and sit down.

Really...dude...how old are you? Canada should leverage its oil and gas wealth to fund a gradual, economically sensible transition toward renewables, rather than abandoning fossil fuels completely before alternatives are ready. That is the ONLY way it can work. We don't have alternatives.

THere are better battles to fight. It makes sense for it to be in Calgary when many of the big oil companies already have offices there. Oil is being used. We need the revenue if we want to invest in renewable energy. Infrastructure costs money; we use what we have to make the changes. Buy a ladder.

If the policy you write doesn't prescribe, in precise language, what is and isn't acceptable, I would anticipate anyone worried about this litigious government to take it "over the top" as the UCP are claiming.

I agree. However, there are books that need to be rethought...those which have explicit sexual scenes that are superfluous to the storyline. Jean Auel's Clan of the Cave Bear series...great books. NOT FOR YOUNG TEENS. I think there needs to be governance, but book banning is for DICKtators.

I agree, banning books is ridiculous. That being said, there are books on that list that should not be in a school library. Jean Auel's books are very sexually explicit. So there is room to revisit what is in a school library, but MOST books on that list, at worst, are PG-13 stuff kids watch daily.
