Editor's Note: An earlier version of this article detailed how an internal law enforcement bulletin said that ammunition recovered following the Charlie Kirk shooting was engraved with expressions of "transgender and anti-fascist ideology." Justice Department officials later urged caution about the bulletin by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, saying it may not accurately reflect the messages on the ammunition, and the article was updated Thursday to reflect that.

This editor's note was appended on Friday, Sept. 12, after Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said the engravings included one that said "Hey fascist!" along with other messages and symbols. He gave no indication that the ammunition included any transgender references.

Tbf it is possible to make an ai without the mass teft the ones created today have (more difficult sure, but technically possible). I just don't think it should matter if it is done legally or no for art exhibitions. It's a bit like commissioning a piece and then claiming I made it. Legal but wrong

I think the drawback of physics models is interaction of different systems. There is a formula for each different thing that happens in the climate system that are all calibrated to answer just one question. Which the model has to combine. Where as ai combines everything straight from the input

They are embedded "in" the network. Not "their embeddings stored on the trained network". The weights of each node changes so that they can reproduce the image with the description given. If that wasn't the case you wouldn't need the images in the first place.

Well let's put it this way. I don't think the supply of terminally ill monkeys is that big. Especially at the rate he as been going through them. So probably a single cough is enough to have them labelled terminally ill.

Hypothetical: say I take an untrained neural network. Now I train it on just 1 single image. It no matter the input it will output this single image. It is clear the image is embedded in the network. The difference in real ai is the number of images. But without those images the ai wouldn't work

It's more that the reason that the ai could get so close to the original is because it was trained on the original image. The tool still contains the image and is sold without the copyright holders consent. Of course not as an actual image file but It's embedded in the neural network

As I understand it not necessarily. It too would spread through the universe at the speed of light. So if it happened far away enough we wouldn't have seen it yet. And to add to that. The universe is expanding at accelerating rate. So it might never reach us at all.
