The Feds, LA County is (correctly) saying, have CAUSED the emergency.

This is a striking political moment of internal collapse. Local govts feeling compelled to protect their ppl from … their own govt.

I've always loved Drew Struzan's cover for INDIANA JONES AND THE DINOSAUR EGGS. It's simple but I love it. He could draw Harrison Ford like nobody else. Sigh.

My favorite Struzan story is that he was doing the poster for Indy at Disneyland, but they didn't have the rights to Ford's likeness. Fed up with working around the problem, Struzan just called Ford and was like, "hey, can I use your face for this," and Ford said, "if it's for you, absolutely."

Depressing and sobering. A lot of Americans genuinely don't have the budget to purchase $100+ shirts. But that's how much it will cost for the shirts to be made in America for a price that doesn't exploit workers. And meanwhile billionaires keep getting richer.

I might be one of the last few people on earth to watch K-POP DEMON HUNTERS -- but finally watched last night and OMFG it was SOOOOO GOOOD!!! 🤩 If you haven't seen it, go do so! It is accessible to everyone; like it will grab you in the first 5 minutes. Congrats to Boey and Erika for their work!

I'm glad he's speaking up. Anything to give visibility to the fuckedupness of ICE. Disappearing non-criminal immigrants who want a better life. Rounding up CHILDREN. Rampant racial profiling. Shooting at protesters. I don't know how anyone can look at this and be like, we're doing the right thing.

Federal agents aren’t trying to keep the peace. They want violence to escalate so that Trump can declare martial law.

They shot a reverend in the head with pepper balls while he was praying in front of an ICE facility. If that doesn’t tell you where we are as a country, nothing will.
