Antisemitism (Anti-Jewish Bigotry): Key Concepts and Repeating Patterns. Jews are defined as an ethno-religious group. They are an ethnic group that follows a traditional religion. Converts are allowed, but they are warned three times, and it takes at minimum, two years of study. All ethnic Jews have some level of Middle Eastern DNA, but blood quantums are racist, and ethnic groups make their own membership rules. Ethnic identity is about culture, not DNA. As Jews were the first ethnic and religious minority, antisemitism is a feature, not a bug, of Western Civilization, just as anti-Blackness is a feature, not a bug, of the society and culture of the United States. The Holocaust is typically presented to you like it happened in vacuum. In reality, multiple smaller scale genocides of Jews took place in European history prior to the Holocaust, with the Holocaust simply being the grand finale. The Jew is a Rorschach blot. Whatever you see in the Jew, it says more about you than it does about the Jew. “If piety was a given society’s ideal, Jews were impious blasphemers; if secularism was the ideal, Jews were backward pietists. Not knowing what makes biphobia is a type of biphobia, an erasure of discrimination that bisexual people face. Knowing what is biphobia and having the ability to recognize it is part of not being biphobic.

How to be Les4Les without being biphobic:

Les4Les is not *innately* biphobic but the overlap in this Venn Diagram I am examining is rather large, I must say.

That's because oppression intersects. Biphobia intersects with misogyny. It's called bimisogyny.
Also, men face biphobia too.
The scare quotes are not a good look.

This is a reminder for therians/otherkin that reading about psychology, spirituality/mythology and biology from sources outside of the otherkin community can be really helpful. Don't reinvent the wheel. Borrow books from the library, watch a documentary, scroll wikipedia, whatever.

That bisexual people are uniquely asked to prove, defend or assert that they don't exclude cisn't people in their attractions is Gold Star Biphobia.

It really is quite mind-blowing that ever since I came out, I have taken more shit for being a bi woman than I have for being a demiwoman.
I knew biphobia was a problem but seriously?
