It was ok - we've got her DSA form done which is a major achievement - trying to negotiate moving the academic support meeting as it clashes with her social worker visit!

Labour voters need to shut the fuck a
Up about ppl needing to vote labour to keep reform out.

No.

Labour voters need to vote green to keep reform out. And get far better policies into the bargain.

You can really see this with the new chair that Labour are pushing, where massive issues with a lack of expertise and experience are being completely overridden because she'll continue eroding trans people's rights
Had a meeting with the autism rep with my daughter at her uni. We have retreated into waterstones - bookshops are a safe space for both of us. Unfortunately that has led to me having yet another armful of books - oops!

You can never enough books or plants, right?!

Time and time again, the United Kingdom’s robins will literally dance right up to you and shake out a bag containing all zero of the fucks they possess directly in front of your face.
A robin who has arrived on the decking outside my house, purely to gloat sickeningly about the fact that he now owns it. A robin stares me down, while sitting on my friend's bicycle, and asking me what the fuck I am going to do about it.
We have one that is now sufficiently tame/bold that it will frequently hop into the house to check the floor for crumbs if the back door is open!
When I said we weren't here to be disappointed with Labour but to replace them. I meant it.

Labour is telling you VERY LOUDLY who to vote for if you value human rights. And it's definitely NOT LABOUR.
Woah! So Labour's position really is, 'telling us off for breaching human rights undermines the case for human rights'? Proper Trumpian stuff from Labour's answer to Suella Braverman.

If all else fails abd the bottom is about to fall out of your market, I guess try using sex to sell it?!
What do you base your theory that people say they are autistic when they aren't on, exactly?
Not doing very well today. Not sure why but mental health v poor. Am trying to take some rest and that could be it. Plus anxiety about starting a new role, possibly.

The utter stupidity of this because GPs are allowed to get away with discrimination against trans people is one of the many reasons why gender services have an avg 25 year wait to a first appointment.
Going to get my NHS HRT renewal today. To do that I'll walk past my GP surgery, get on a train to glasgow, walk through the city centre, meet a pharmacist, get a train back, walk past my GP again, wait for the prescription to come by post, then take it to the pharmacy next to my GP.

All because prescribing a patch or pill and occasionally checking bloods is supposedly beyond the competence of my entire GP surgery (although they'd do it happily if I weren't trans). Fucking joke of a system, a deliberately demeaning waste of time.

If anyone needs me I will be in the museum, lying down next to the bog bodies.
Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?
2? Questions
I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?
Thank you - now cuddled up with my dog and a book!

🚨This is an emergency🚨

This Government is currently sitting on an EHRC Code of Practice that will lead to the segregation and exclusion of trans people in public life.
