We're in the middle of the peak migration time for bald eagles here along the south basin of Lake Winnipeg. While some stick around into winter, most head south. Ours have been tracked to the upper Mississippi river. I saw many perched along the shore looking for easy fish from the fishermen. #birds

Glamorous garden visitor, the Black-Billed Magpie. This is one of a local family that nested nearby #birds
