Coalition, multi-party politics is the only way to go in a pluralistic society. Monolithic parties that ultimately stand for power and not much else need to go. Give us a proper choice over the ideas and policies to feed into government where compromises happen rather than pre-diluted non-entities.

Through sheer trial and error (and desperation) we found out that our little one fell asleep best to ‘So What’ by Miles Davis. Yeah, I know.

Now he’s a full blown toddler I’ve brought it back into his bedtime routine and he just beams with delight throughout the whole 8 mins or however long it is.

You see this (unsurprisingly) a lot in the tech space - in particular the view that something must be inevitable if you put enough work into the “prerequisite”.

Eg: if we pour enough resources into developing LLMs, we will surely eventually create AGI.
