Boulder is chock full of rich people and terrible (median house >1M) for example a couple years ago they voted to continue limiting how many unrelated people could live together to 3 even if the house had more bedrooms than that. Bunch of tyrants who leech high rents from the college kids

yeah the part of the problem was the ducts we have aren't large enough for a heat pump (cooler air so more air volume needed) which they absolutely could have caught with a site visit rather than their busted software. If I had realized they were a startup we would have gone with another bid...

The company they bought out of bankruptcy - Helio Home - installed an egregiously undersized ducted heat pump in our home a couple years back. I'm talking bedrooms at 45 degrees during cold weeks.

I've had to add a ton of insulation and a wood stove to backstop it when it gets below 5f or so
