Because a lot of the costs of driving are related to what car you choose to buy. And cars, often more than homes, are status symbols. So to complain about the cost defeats the purpose of the excess costs.

Trump and Miller will probably get the blood in the streets they want eventually. We don’t know when or how it will unfold, or how the public will come to perceive it. But we do know that no matter how it unfolds or is perceived, it is already their fault. All we can do is our best.

I saw just a day of the big wind farm in the California delta being built, and there, after they mounted the turbine, they built the whole rotor with all three blades and then lifted the whole thing up to the top of that 225’ tower. Amazing! Each blade is 125’ long!

Governor Newsom has a bill on his desk to hold utilities accountable, and get them to stop passing along their dark money campaigns to everyday Californians.

Frankly, ICE should simply not exist. It’s a product of the GWB administration, so we got by without it for 225 years. If the feds want someone for deportation, they can ask state or local police to take that person into custody, with those agencies having the right to decline.
