Poke Transporter GB is a tool that runs on original hardware that transfers Pokemon from Generation 1/2 to Generation 3! I have a video talking about what it is and the development process here if you’re interested!

At the moment the library will double the IVs for both Legal and Faithful- however currently only the Original method is implemented in Poke Transporter GB. Once the last few bugs with the PCCS are fixed and community input is finished, it’ll be fully implemented!
Howdy! Apologies about the doubling IVs, I must’ve mislabeled that one. The only Pokémon that wouldn’t work for theoretically is the legendary beasts due to the roaming IV glitch restricting them.

You’re correct about the hatched origin! Besides Unown, only legendaries have that issue
A major part of this is the "Pokemon Community Conversion Standard" which is an open source library I created for different conversion methods. I'm really hoping this can be something the community can come together on and agree on these methods together!

I'm happy to announce that v1.2.0 of Poke Transporter GB has been released!!

This update fixes a lot of bugs and changes a lot on the back-end to prepare for language support and alternate conversion methods!

I just want to talk about the future of Blue Moon Falls a little bit (don’t worry, all good things!) so I’m going to use this thread to do that.
You’ve probably noticed that site updates have been nonexistent despite me officially coming out of hiatus. Well, there’s a few reasons for that:
I’ve been meaning to play that- it looks SO GOOD
I unironically would love to play a game like this, gimme more silly nerd programmer games
game idea: Factory of Doom
a factorio/satisfactory style construction game where you start with redstone-esque logic, go up to constructing gates, then make gates into adders and memory and logic, and you beat the game when you combine all this to make a computer that runs Doom
I’d love to see a longer video about the development of Where’s My Water! One of my first programming experiences was trying to remake it on Scratch since I loved the game so much, so it holds an extra special place in my heart
This was my immediate thought too- the meme came true I cannot believe it
don't even get me started on the "X shape and Y shape" guy I'm so mad that it came true

I’m very excited to say that I’ll be adding my good friend Malamar to version 6.8.7 of PTGB! This has been a long time coming, and many many months of work have gone into making this possible.

Also Fennel has been replaced with Malamar and the program has been renamed to Malamar Transporter GB

Welcome back to the most and least visited Pokémon articles on Bulbapedia from last month.

In August 2025, we had some major reveals lead to some Mega-Evolved results for our stats! Anything else surprise you?

No problem!! I hadn’t caught that these went up on Aliexpress, so I’m glad you sent them my way 😄
I am not the seller of that, unfortunately- I currently have no plans on selling cartridges for Poké Transporter GB. I can’t stop people from selling the program online, but I have no involvement in it
Here’s my tier list of little guys (and some larger guys too)

Thank you, as always, for everyone who has been following this project and supporting me over the years. I am so proud of what this project has become- but I'm even more excited for what's coming next.

Here's to another year- and many more- of Poké Transporter GB!
I had originally planned on v2.0.0 releasing around this time in celebration, but life has just gotten in the way too much for that to have happened. This year I started a full time job, and so I just haven't had as much time to work on PTGB- rest assured, development is still ongoing! (3/4)
Many things are coming soon as well- including fixing the pesky incorrect level bug and more language support. These rewrites are key to the next stages of development, but have taken a long time. There's a ton I'm excited for that's coming up, but it just isn't quite yet ready for launch. (2/4)
Today marks one year since Poké Transporter GB had its v1.0.0 release! Although it may not seem like it, a ton has happened behind the scenes in preparation for v2.0.0. I've taken on a large sub-project with completely rewriting the conversion algorithm, as well as the text engine. (1/4)

someone cool saying the things you do are cool >>>
The next major update is planned to include language support, yes! There might be a minor update or two in the meantime to fix a few pertinent bugs, but the language support will absolutely be a part of v2.0.0!
