Looks like your Switch's display settings might be set to a slightly smaller aspect ratio than 100% leading to that black border, mine was like that for a while to fit a hotel TV and I never noticed

I very often send things back, especially for the purpose of ribbons. This Paldea origin Scizor gets the ribbons from all the Switch games but a Z-A Scizor within the same generation is completely cut off

I don't know what I did to piss off Tangela so bad, it was one of my safari fails this year where it let me throw eight balls before finally running, didn't get the first shiny until 17,952 encounters and the current one to evolve into Tangrowth is sitting at 20,480
