I feel like some people see me as like a judgemental asshole because of being/acting proud and opinionated and confidant as a defense against low self esteem and maybe I just shouldn't take it personally but it feels bad

trying to simply not dwell on my fucked up voice despite it being the thing giving me the most grief while also the thing that'll only change with effort. and at the same time resenting even feeling this way and not wanting to have to change but I guess that's just the same as anything else

Do NOT use vanilla in place of sherry! I just made this exactly as written and used vanilla since I didn't have sherry. It is now down the disposal. The smell alone was a huge indicator of what it would taste like. Whoever thought of vanilla with meat? Nasty.
