It’s funny, because after he said that I could actually pick up on a tobacco leaf-like quality I hadn’t before. And I do love that cigar and pipe tobacco smell. Still took me by surprise though, lol.

I just sprayed on some chocomusk and my spouse said it smelled like a honey-vanilla cigarillo 🥲

He rarely comments on what I wear but the chocomusk seems to grab his attention the most. Usually he thinks it’s cookies baking but this is the first time I’ve gotten cigarillo from him. #perfumesky

For a moment I thought I was really starting to like it and then I realized on one wrist it was overlapping a bit with the chocomusk I sprayed on the night before. So I do think I could put this to good use layering with some gourmands to give it a real dirty, unsettling funk! #perfumesky

#sotd was “Dark Circus” from Amorphous. This is definitely a challenging perfume (as advertised!) The opening was very reminiscent of an old, rubbery used bandaid. Eventually this faded back (thank God) and I got a lot of dirty hay stomped into damp earth. Hint of popcorn.

Yes they *are* both bad, you’re right, but even the natural crystals that don’t leech anything dangerous in the water still don’t look good to me. I think the crystals look better on a shelf or desk and leave the cool rocks and sticks to the aquariums.

the push to stop regular people, especially women and queer people, from talking about sex and expressing ourselves sexually is unreal and it's v much in line with this attempt to make big tech companies the only ones allowed to monetize erotica. It is enclosure of the sexual body and mind.

Oh good, ChatGPT is getting "erotica for verified adults" later this year

We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.

Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.

In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).

In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.

The is no going back to “normal” for them. They are now living in a rubble ridden hellscape while the western world moves on, pretending it didn’t fund and approve this.

I haven’t resolved it fully but keeping up with magnesium, vitamin d, and fish oil really helps. My brain fog is horrible without fish oil. For insomnia having 3mg of melatonin about an hour before bed helps.

I'm in my seventies. Why didn't I stop? Number one is community. My gurls. I've had moments of thinking about stopping, but I didn't. I made sure I would step back, reju- venate myself, and then got back out there, and that's how you make a way. Our stories are not all the same, but the destination is: to get some place where we have some peace and harmony, and we can be at ease with ourselves and the people around us. #sotd is “Circus of Shadows” from Amorphous. I appreciate that this is a Halloween fragrance without the usual Halloween notes. Opens like a fresh bag of circus peanuts, that stiff marshmallow with an “edible flavoring oil” orange. The patchouli and palo santo bring depth and a bit of edge.
