Statement from Indivisible in response to Speaker Johnson's comments on No Kings on October 18. We also want to emphasize that all of our events are nonviolent and peaceful.

That the enlightened society of The United States of America was better than that. That we had risen above that by focusing on the humanity in all of us, choosing to mutually respect each other regardless of our misunderstandings. But what humanity do we attribute to those afflicted by something we don’t understand–for which there is a cure, but we decide they shouldn’t have?" Thank you to the folks who showed up in support of Free Speech at the Cañon City City Council meeting. No one should be punished by government for sharing an article on social media, especially when there isnt a code of conduct prohibiting such.
