Ohtani on a plane to Toronto for real this time
This is a team of destiny man. Even to get this far has been insane
This is the first game in the series that truly has that edge-of-your-seat, shit-in-your-pants, vomit profusely feeling in the 9th
Oh absolutely, they were both still strikes but can see why Suarez is a little choked

it's funny that the ump called the first curve a ball and the second a strike but it's funnier that RoboUmp3000 rings him up on the 4th pitch
Legitimately couldn’t have hit it more perfectly at Naylor.
Naylor double play
That’s so unlucky (again)
tbf that missed strike call makes the strike 3 call worse because he’s seen that exact pitch more over the plate called for a ball, so you don’t expect that one to be a strike.

Still too close to take imo

George Springer has a whole kennel in him man — dude has an Iditarod team running through his veins
That was a lucky call considering he called one closer a ball lol
That Vlad missile was so unlucky lmao
I see you channeling the reverse jinx
I *get* the bunt there, but I think that’s one where as a hitter you try and slap that ball between third and short
Ah, that’s why. Still don’t get it though lol
All it takes is a bloop and a blast
eh he bobbles the ball a lot imo. The offense is normally non-existent too.
(It just ignores vibes though, which are a huge thing in baseball and Kirby’s stuff was good so I don’t get the switch personally)
I wish Vibes were more of a thing but am glad they pulled him from a Jays perspective lol
Was going to be the third time through the order in a batter; typically don’t want to be doing that because offensive stats go up a lot.

Going there at the #9 hitter gives the new pitcher a weaker hitter to adjust to first before facing the top of the order
