This is exactly backwards, the no kings protests are a mass movement of regular people that have every republican politician in the country raging about "hate America rallies," and the online protest industry weirdos who say shit like "radlib" to each other are the ones skimming off the top of them

it is no wonder that 50501, a movement of radlibs who are very upset but don’t want to get in trouble, would be boosting superficial activism.

I think Birth of a Nation is very much an important thing to study in the history of our nation’s racist propaganda history. Being so well made is what made it effective and it quite disturbed me in film school. when we watched Olympia I was as completely bored by it and don’t get the fuss.

I think average Dem Voter is vastly more angry about Trump than the parties’s centrist leadership comprehends. My parents are not DSA Bernie voters but they are marching and protesting because the just absolutely fucking hate Donald Trump and are horrified by RFK and Musk cuts.
