Anyhow briefly in Winchester. When I was a teen, the Buttercross was the scheduled meeting place, or there was always someone just there for a chat. Sometimes you couldn’t even get a step to perch on, but I notice hardly anyone sits there anymore. They’ve all got phones now you see: it’s redundant
