6,575 likes, 191 comments - phil_vandelay on October 6, 2024: "I spent the last weeks designing and building this device to counter one of the most annoying and tricky bike repair issues - seatposts becoming so seized in their frames due to corrosion that they seem impossible to remove. When a post doesn't want to budge using the usual methods like penetrating oil, holding it in a vise etc. sometimes a highly specialized tool like this is the last hope. I'm happy to report that it works great and I've already been able to rescue five frames that seemed like hopeless cases with absolutely no damage to either the frame or the seatposts.
