Yesterday a friend of mine died following an overdose. She had been in a dark place & I don’t yet know if she meant to take her life, if she did she will be one of 17 who die by suicide each day 💜

I used Linux Mint, from since just before Windows 10 was released. Mostly painless, but with one or two things only resolved through terminal, like getting hibernation working on the laptop.

This is both so much fun and completely absurd. The Information Commissioner has upheld the confidentiality of the contracts that established the Cass Review.

I will be seeking legal advice. I might actually need to crowdfund for legal costs this time. This is so getting out of hand.

1/🧵 The EHRC asked the minister to revoke the current Code of Practice. This position is inconsistent with the misinformation spread by some of its commissioners. They advised service providers not to follow the Code, but instead to rely on their interim guidance, which has since been withdrawn.

1/🧵 I should note that from the beginning, I knew the EHRC would withdraw their “interim update” guidance.

My aim was to make it untenable for them to defend the position that segregation of trans people is mandatory. And I think that strategy has been successful.

That doesn’t mean we can stop.

Wednesday: five months after publishing transphobic legal guidance the EHRC, a month before it has to defend it in court, takes it down.

The EHRC has finally, five months after producing its wildly transphobic and, we believe, unlawful Interim Guidance now taken it down. Our judicial review challenge to that Interim Guidance will be heard in less than one month.
