Can anyone explain to me what the scam angle here is. We now get like 5 of these emails a day; we must have gotten on some list. What is this ecosystem (obviously we just delete all the emails immediaely)

the other undercurrent I always feel is: why are you not in college? These guys are good enough and young enough to go get scholarships. Why burn so much money losing in the first round of qualifying in every time zone on earth. Go to school and play

there's this trend of Tennis YouTuber where the guy is "showing the journey" through the pro minor league stuff. Most videos feature the player narrating his matches with "I forgot to warm up for this, also I'm injured, and it was at altitude and I didn't adjust at all. I lost! like and subscribe"

That sounds like a "teacher problem" IMO and it's one you can probably reclaim gradually if you ever wanted to. Not saying you have to or should. But there's a lot of great stuff in the bucket of books you're thinking of that isn't as annoying to read as you might think

to be absolutely clear here, what I mean is that you are obviously not a "dumb person," you're doing what everyone does when they read stuff like that. Just a matter of whether you enjoy doing that or not, and it's fine not to. I often don't

There's a perception that people reading old or "difficult" literature are just flying through it like it's nothing; not true at all. Having to retrace your steps while reading is extremely normal for those books, is even part of the draw when you're in the mood, and says nothing bad about you lol

Basically, by including word for word the 10 Commandments from THEIR CHOSEN VERSION of the Bible, Arkansas Evangelicals are creating precedent that other Christians don't count. This is a big deal!
