(sorry to all non-2024 authors past, present, and future, there are TOO MANY OF YOU TO THANK!!)
Over the last decade, I've tried to push the limits of science fiction and fantasy with every book I've worked on. I've worked to contribute wonder, strangeness, and imagination to the field that built my own imagination. It's wonderful seeing that work recognized.
I'm so happy to be nominated for the Hugo Award for Best Editor, Long Form! It's an honor to be recognized by the Hugo voters, and to fulfill a dream I've nurtured since my first Worldcon.

THE SAINT OF BRIGHT DOORS is out today! By chapter three the novel sends its chosen one protagonist to group therapy, which should happen to every epic fantasy hero.
Hey, my book's out in the world at long last! I've collected some of the very nice things people have been kind enough to say about it, along with links to buy it in hardcover, ebook, or audiobook. Thank you for your patience, and I hope you enjoy it!
