"68% of Britons would now accept a return to free movement across borders in exchange for regaining access to the EU's single market. Among those who voted to Leave in 2016, the margin for Returning stands at 54-35%. Even 44% of Reform Party voters are in favour of it."

Israel have been bombing Palestinians today as if there is no ceasefire, and they will continue to do so and everyone will ignore it.

Eventually Hamas will fire back and they will 'break' the Ceasefire.

Donald Trump's Peace is just continued Genocide.

Tommy Robinson police stop unlawful, court hears

Spot the deliberate mistake. In fact Yaxley-Lennon’s brief (provided by #Musk) ALLEGES it was unlawful. Do again after school Sandford and Armstrong.

I understand that the latest Highway Code places pedestrians at the top of the hierarchy of road users, above both cyclists and vehicles. Have also to say being struck by a vehicle is probs a tad more dangerous than running into an unwary pedestrian.

His (aka Musk’s) lawyer says the Yaxley-Lennon views are well known. A pity the identities of his funders are somewhat less opaque.

Tommy Robinson police stop unlawful, lawyer says

The Yaxley-Lennon Legal bill being paid by #ElonMusk which reassures us that everything’s squeaky-clean & above board cos Musk’s a decent & trustworthy public figure too.

The Spectator (owned by GBNews owner Paul Marshall - estimated wealth of £800 million) doesn’t like taxing wealth fairly.

I wonder how they got to this editorial decision?

Let’s tax wealth fairly, fund front line services & make hope normal again.

Goldman Sachs warns Rachel Reeves against tax rises on banks.

Banks happy to be bailed out, take QE, mis-sell products, not to be prosecuted for frauds, hike charges, pay lousy rates on savings.

Need windfall taxes. Raise top rate of income tax.

With the particular cycle tracks I have in mind, I’m not sure I’m persuaded by the “more dangerous” argument.
emmahbea.bsky.social
Cyclists rightly call for segregated cycle lanes in Oxford. It’s worth noting, however, there are several busy roads with such lanes but cyclists often don’t use them & cycle in the road. Another dangerous phenomenon is the number of people cycling at night with no lights or reflective clothing.

I guess I’ll take more notice of the #ClactonCuxkoo’s “outrage” when he condemns the verbal & physical assaults by his supporters (evidenced on video) as opposed to this “alleged” assault on Finch apparently reported to the police as a man being “pushed” at 2 a.m. in Nuneaton

Agree - but my question is factual - what actually happened? A lot of allegation but little fact available on line.
emmahbea.bsky.social
Where can factual evidence of the attack be found? Has anybody claimed responsibility for the attacK? Having been burnt a few times on social media, I feel hesitant to jump to comment without more and better particulars.
