also if you want to replace a character with alan rickman's dry delivery you can just do that yourself

like you can make that thing and turn it into something new and interesting instead of burning the planet to re-render a game of thrones version no one is going to watch

its a social media thing of course where relative ease of access to the small community around the projects means their an easy target versus a big conglomerate with no clear figurehead outside of an occasional show runner to scream at, but also go do something productive with your life.
